Filmed beside a billabong (with a few crocodile precautions), I speak about this lesser-known – but incredibly powerful – Bush Essence and its profound gift of releasing expectation and limiting beliefs, perceptions and ways of thinking that hold people back. Whether it’s preconceived ideas about travel, people or even foods we haven’t yet tried, Freshwater Mangrove invites us to open our hearts and minds.

The flowers are shaped like brain neurons – symbolising the opening of new pathways for experiences and beliefs. It’s especially valuable now, as our world shifts so rapidly and the children coming through bring with them expansive wisdom and new ideas and concepts.

Fuss Pot Essence

“My 2yo daughter has been displaying an extreme need to control every situation in her daily life to the point of exhaustion for us. Fusspot took the edge off this need, giving her a sense of safety to allow life to unfold more spontaneously and for her to go with the flow more readily. This has been a game changer for us.

Freshwater Mangrove

“Freshwater Mangrove came up a few times when I pulled the cards, but I never followed up because I thought this is such a rarely used essence, it won't have much of an effect. My rational mind had all kinds of reasons. But last month I started taking it and was so positively surprised about its effects. I'm surprised it is not used more often.

I'm very sensitive and usually notice an effect right from the very first dose. I instantly felt that something was clearing and shifting in my mind, like opening up. Until then I just knew the general indication of Freshwater Mangrove but hadn't read the chapter in your book. After a few days on Freshwater Mangrove I got out the book and read about it. It was the same evening or next day that I clearly remembered the feeling of how, as a child, I would sometimes float above the ground when I was alone. Just by the mere force of my mind. I remembered the feeling of doing this naturally, but also at the same time thinking that this is actually not possible, because they say it is not possible, so I must not tell anyone. The feeling in the memory was so familiar and natural to me. I can't remember details, I guess my child brain must have pushed it far away, but it was very real at the same time.

In general I found that areas in my brain opened up. I've had chronic health issues and have found myself in difficult complex circumstances for many years, for which there are no logical solutions, and FWM suddenly opened up possibilities or space, some kind of openness in the mind or brain that solutions can come from anywhere and that everything is possible. I remember the quote: "'Impossible' is a word in a fool's dictionary." (To me, that seems to sum up Freshwater Mangrove).

Another area where Freshwater Mangrove made a difference was with regards to prejudices. I've lived most of my life in different countries and mainly amongst different races and cultures. That was my 'normal' (I'm a bit of a Tall Yellow Top constitution). I know that I am open-minded, tolerant and accepting of all kinds of people, races and cultures. But Freshwater Mangrove took this to a new level. Before, I realised, I was simply accepting but still noticed the difference amongst different cultures/races. After a week on Freshwater Mangrove I noticed how I didn't even see those differences anymore. I'm presently also staying in a country where I haven't lived before, where I don't speak the language and where people have a different mentality. Suddenly, I simply felt a lot of love for the people in this country. Instead of seeing a different mentality I only see loving souls around me. It is as if Freshwater Mangrove has lifted me out of some kind of mental grid and now the natural, inherent love can flow more freely. (Because it is a fact that we are all just souls incarnated here and any designation of race/mentality etc are just external, material sheaths. I hope it makes sense what I'm trying to express.) Like you said in the Level 3 session: Sometimes we are not even aware of our prejudices.

Freshwater Mangrove

“My son Marcus aged 16 years has autism. He has quite a lot of rigidity in his responses to life experiences and it is very challenging for him to let go and choose to do things differently. He is focused on rules and regulations and doesn’t like it when other people break the rules as he sees it. Freshwater Mangrove seems to be the ‘perfect’ essence for him in many ways.

Marcus gets stuck wearing his favourite clothes. I believe this behaviour is his fear of the future and is related to a need for familiarity in all things. He doesn’t cope well without lots of planning and routines. His rigidity is very strong relating to a lot of life experiences, including food choices.

Marcus began taking Freshwater Mangrove. Soon after this his teacher introduced a ‘dress to impress’ rule on Thursdays for their excursion to the community. This has helped to ‘break’ the pattern of refusal - and being introduced as a ‘new rule’ helped Marcus to adjust to the new. Marcus is fascinated with people with black hair. He has been talking about having black hair himself, so when his teacher mentioned that they were prepared to dye it in class for him I gave permission! And the following day they did it in class as an exercise called ‘Senior J Hairdressing Salon’. Marcus went through the process willingly, in front of 15 other students and 3 staff members. Marcus usually does not like to be ‘visible’ and in this case he was the centre of attention. His hair looked fantastic and he was thrilled, telling everyone he came into contact with.

I thought these examples associated with taking the Essence were amazing! Such a rigid boy in many ways and this experience of the hair dye and the acceptance of the new ‘dress rule’ were such unexpected breakthroughs. This was within the two-week period of taking Freshwater Mangrove.
