I had very good results using Yellow Cowslip Orchid with a man who was having a lot of conflict and arguments with his 17 year old daughter, who was near the end of her final year of high school. My patient was an Air element and they tend to have a lot of rules and regulations and get upset when those rules are perceived to being broken. When out of balance Air elements can get very judgmental and critical. Yellow Cowslip Orchid Is specifically for this aspect but it's also the key remedy for an Air element. The father was frequently annoyed and irritated by his daughter not cleaning up after herself around the house and especially in the kitchen. She claimed she was too busy to do this because she was preparing for her exams. The father didn't necessarily think this was the case and that she was just being lazy and messy. This was leading to lots of arguments between the two of them and the relationship was being quite negatively affected. After being on this remedy for two weeks the father reported that he was, “choosing his battles” and not reacting so much to his daughter’s behaviour. All this Covid19 situation and everything around it brought a lot of instability and fear to me; brought a lot of dense emotions (might be past lives, collective, generational) around dominance, abuse, restriction, fear of people abuse of power and uncertainty of the future.
