Grounding Through Red Lily 

K came to me very confused and frightened. She had experienced ‘dark energy’ when she did yoga and at other times.  She was at the beginning of a new relationship but was not handling the situation well, blaming and being judgmental of herself.  She chose her own essences running her hands over the bottles with her eyes closed and selected Red Lily.  When I described the different qualities of this essence about grounding, focus and living in the present, also vagueness and disconnectedness and day dreaming, her response was that “it is not me generally but at the moment it is”. I muscle tested to check the appropriateness of this essence and she tested strong. The first choice however was a bit confusing for me because her symptoms had not presented as such except for the strong feeling that all along she was disconnected from her Higher Self and that she lacked a feeling of wholeness. It was good for her disconnectedness and helped bring her back to a sense of wholeness and that her ‘dark’ experiences were in fact part of her not being grounded in the Earth plane and some part of her consciousness was resisting being here. Red Lily certainly strengthened K. After 2 weeks she stated that she still felt confused about her ‘man situation’ but that she was feeling calmer since taking the Red Lily. She now realised that she was angry towards her parents, particularly her father. I felt strongly that Red Lily had unravelled this perhaps because it had reconnected her to her life. Over the next couple of months I treated K with the essences for anger. By then the dark episodes had decreased and when one did appear she was able to deal with it quickly and without any trauma or fear.

When I go into overwhelm (which Paw Paw helps) through pushing myself too much I seem to split off and become ungrounded and floaty. This is the time I may find Red Lily is needed to reconnect and ground me and I find that's what I have intuited for myself or another.

Transformation Through Red Lily

I chose the Red Lily for my partner John, because I thought it would make a great introduction to the essences for him.

John had been very vague of late, losing track of conversations, even forgetting they had taken place entirely.  Since leaving his last job on the spur of the moment he had become disconnected and had lost all focus.  He found it hard to keep appointments, sometimes arriving a day early or a week late.  There was a constant ‘to do’ list with the same things on it week in, week out.  They were relatively simple tasks, he just didn’t have the motivation to start them. 

Amazingly after just a few days on the Red Lily John was feeling like a new person!  He became super aware of himself and started having a series of ‘minor epiphanies’, as he put it.  It seemed like the essence had really brightened his outlook.  He almost couldn’t wait to get home and relay to me these occurrences that were happening on a daily basis.  It was exciting!  He was experiencing feeling overwhelmingly in the moment and he realised that until now this was totally uncharacteristic of himself.  He reported a heightened sense of empathy and was more engaged in public situations.  He said he felt a certain connection to the people he encountered.  The difference in him was undeniable.  To me it was a revelation!  In the coming weeks he put his mind to getting practical and accomplished all of the things that he had been putting off all year.  He said he felt great on the essence and wanted me to get him another one to help him retain all of the information he was receiving while on it!  This proved to be a great testament to the Australian Bush Flower Essences.
