This month I will be discussing both Kinesiology and Crowea, two things that go incredibly well hand in hand.
I was first exposed to Kinesiology over forty-five years ago in a lunchtime demonstration at my naturopathic college. However, it was another five years until I was able to fully appreciate what an amazing healing modality it was and how I could incorporate it in my practise. This was due to one my very influential mentors, Glynn Braddy.
Up to this point, my practise was predominantly homoeopathic, though it also had a strong naturopathic element including fasting, nutrition and herbal medicine. In Numerology I’m both a Ruling and Day number four. One aspect of this is that it enables you to become highly skilled with your hands. Also, as four is on the centre of the physical plane, I enjoy physical interaction with my patients. However, prescribing homoeopathy meant that I was repertorising and asking my patients questions throughout the whole hour consultation. I enjoyed doing massages, but timewise I couldn’t fit both into a consultation.
With Kinesiology I was able to have the physical connection with my patients where I would do muscle testing, usually at the end of the session. It was around the time I started working with Kinesiology that information about the Australian Bush Flower Essences started coming through to me during meditation in the healing circle I set up for people needing help with their physical, emotional or spiritual challenges.
Kinesiology puts at our disposal a valuable tool for understanding ourselves better. Stated very simply, it is a system in which specific muscles are tested to provide information about our physical and emotional states. With muscle testing we can determine exactly what an organ or emotional state requires to bring about harmony again.
Through the muscles we are able to tap into the nervous system and brain. Then we can ask the body what it really wants and virtually anything else we wish to know. As Dr. John Diamond stated in his famous book on Kinesiology entitled,” Your Body Doesn't Lie” it is akin to using the keyboard for a Google search, except we're using a muscle instead of a keyboard, to tap into the universal intelligence of the body.
One of the benefits of muscle testing is that it brings people in physical contact with one another and encourages healing through caring and touching. My wife Jane and I give each other a fourteen muscle balance every day. It's a lovely way to both connect and help each other. If someone feels uncomfortable about being touched, use Flannel Flower, which assists people to trust and let go of their inhibitions, to tune into their bodies and enjoy using them.
The most popular system of Kinesiology is called Touch for Health, created by an American chiropractor, John Thie. He wanted to make more people aware of muscle testing, so that these simple techniques they could improve their own and their families’ health. Consequently, he was ostracised by the chiropractic community for daring to share this privileged and tightly held information with lay people. He was a very brave and wonderful man.
The basic premise of the Touch for Health system is that specific muscles correspond to our organs in the body. You can test the functioning of an organ by testing its corresponding muscle and also correct impaired functioning with certain techniques.
There are fourteen main muscles used in Touch for Health, each one corresponding either to a major organ or to one of the two nervous systems. You can tell that an organ, for example, the kidney, is not functioning well by testing its corresponding muscle.
A full fourteen-muscle balance, correcting all the major organs and the nervous systems, can take up to half an hour. One dose of Crowea will do exactly the same thing in only a few seconds. It is an incredibly powerful remedy! Crowea is the most widely used of all the 71 single Bush Essences and is in more combinations than any other essence. It's a crucial component of the Emergency, Calm & Clear and the Woman Essence combinations.
The very first time I sat and tuned in with Crowea, after getting the message to work with it, nothing happened. I was with the flower for over an hour and received no information or communication from either the flower, it's deva or from Spirit. This had never happened before nor since. I was very nonplussed by the experience. Yet the very next time I tuned into Crowea, the floodgates opened fully and I received all the information about its healing gifts. These include a sense of being not quite right or feeling out of balance. It's an excellent essence for worrywarts and people who feel things very intensely. This stunning magenta-coloured flower has five petals with a prominent raised centre. In numerology, five relates to the emotional centre and the integration of emotions. Crowea brings about a sense of peace and calmness that centres an individual as well as giving clarity to their feelings.
During the late 1980s I started presenting at the International Touch For Health conference in San Diego. In one presentation I divided the participants, who came from all around the world, into three groups of approximately fifty people. They then paired up with a partner. Group one tested on each other the basic fourteen muscle balance, while groups two and three tested the second and third set of the fourteen muscles. They noted if any of the muscles unlocked while testing their partner and if so gave them a dose of Crowea and retested. The participants were stunned as Crowea balanced all the muscles that had unlocked. They were amazed at what seven drops of Crowea could do! It was through demonstrations such as this that led to many of these Kinesiologists, from so many different countries, wanting to import and distribute the Bush Essences into their own countries.
I use Kinesiology in every one of my consultations. You can also use Kinesiology to find which Bush Essence a person needs and how long it should be taken for. Kinesiology has a wide range of applications such as allergy testing, pain relief, enhancing learning skills and clearing fears and phobias. These are all life changing techniques and you don't need anything apart from your hands to do it! Governments can ban herbs and restrict the use of supplements, including flower essences, but they won't be able to ban us using our hands.
I always test my patients to determine if they have a subconscious sabotage for their goals and desired outcomes. I might have a patient come to see me because they have a pain in their left shoulder. If they've already been to a physiotherapist, acupuncturist, orthopaedic surgeon and are doing all the right things to remedy the condition with no improvement, then I would suspect and test for subconscious sabotage.
The almost universal reason a person subconsciously sabotages their goals is a deep subconscious belief they are not good enough or don’t deserve to achieve that goal, which is why taking the Five Corners Essence will clear the sabotage and it only takes two weeks!
Of all the techniques I have used in my clinic, age regression stands out for having achieved some of the most amazing results and it is the one where I feel the most connected to my patients. It is a powerful way to clear recurring patterns or themes. This Kinesiological technique allows one to go back to the very first time an emotion, for example, guilt, arose and was not dealt with—and then clear it. This has a domino effect with clearing any negative impact from earlier times when that theme of guilt was present.
Like John Thie I love showing people Kinesiology and I've been teaching it for over forty years. When I stopped practising full time, I took some of the tools I found the most beneficial in my practise, such as Numerology and Kinesiology and created workshops to teach people how to utilise them. They are very popular. Jane and I taught a sold-out Kinesiology workshop last weekend in Sydney. The first time I taught it in Italy, my distributor rang me a week before the workshop saying that we had a problem. I thought maybe there was a lack of numbers. However, it was the exact opposite, they had over 225 people booked for the workshop and our distributor wasn't sure if we'd be able to teach the workshop to so many people – we did!
