In mid year 2001, I read about Abund Essence in the newsletter .. thought it couldn’t possibly hurt. I was in the middle of a very full year. I was studying full time and my younger 2 kids were in Yrs 11 and 12 .. (altogether now!). There’s already enough to deal with. But I made up some Abund and took it .. vaguely thinking I didn’t have the time to work on abundance issues .. perhaps in the holidays at the end of the year.
By the end of 2001, I was exhausted – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I’d just done 2 years full time study (first full time study since leaving school in 69), and was supporting my youngest 2 kids through their HSC, as well as become a grandmother for the second time. I added some part time work to that, regular time with my first grandson, I had used essences extensively, but I could not negotiate lessening my overall plate of commitments. The support network I thought I had went on an indefinite leave! Then, I get a bit arrogant and determined because I have the essences and I think I can get through anything with them so close by.
Anyhows, Christmas Eve (2001) came along and a phone call announced to me that I’d won a car in a $2 raffle – yes, my one ticket was the winner! A beautiful little cyber green Daewoo Matiz – reminiscent of a tree frog. So very me, yet I never would have picked it. Drives like a dream .. does 500-600km on a $30 tank! My first new car .. with 4 speaker CD, aircon, airbags and 3 year free car care warranty. How good is that! Love it.
I would have bought the tickets around the same time I was taking Abund, but pinned the ticket on the notice board and forgot about it too. I did put a bookmark with ‘Expect a miracle every day’ on my PC .. so I’d remember that while I studied. Silently I was praying that my aging car would be OK, or it could bring my studies to a halt. The studies were important to me. So was supporting my kids through this time. That’s all I really had time for that year .. getting to Level 3 Workshop in Sydney of October was my highlight and treat of the year – something I loved – and that was Abund-flavoured when I stop to consider it. November brought a new grandson whom I helped deliver at the local hospital because their buzzer didn’t work for us! (My first birth attendance – how lucky was I!) then to literally dash away for end of year exams. My son got to the finish line with his HSC .. I wasn’t sure it was possible. Then when I didn’t have anything left in energy, in came the car!
It wasn’t the only thing I won .. also $40 in a sheep-sweep (green and groovy) when I went to help at a local fundraiser that August/Sept! The car was raffled by The Australian Wool Fashion Awards .. my daughter gives her time to model for them. That both should come in through volunteer organizations I find really interesting. I am not in the habit of winning things .. but I have had a habit of volunteering my time.
After reading about the Abund Essence in the last newsletter and really needing a boost to my finances, I decided to try the essence. A few days after I started to take the essence, I received an unexpected cheque for nearly $4,000. Naturally this wasn’t the only area this essence affected. My relationships (partner, children, friends) seem incredibly richer. Life in general seems kinder. I was also anticipating a large bill, which never eventuated.
I’ve had excellent results with most of the essences I’ve used and given to others.
