Lack of Focus
A client came to me desperate for help for her 13-year old son. She felt exasperated by her son’s bad behaviour and poor performance at school. He lacked focus, could not concentrate and kept forgetting to complete his homework. He was rebellious, argumentative and talked tough with his friends (false bravado masking low self-esteem).
After listening to a description by the mother of her son and using my pendulum for verification, I decided on the following combination:
|Five Corners||– his mother made it clear that he lacked confidence in himself.|
|Boab||– to help clear old family patterns.|
|Flannel Flower||– I felt it was useful here, being a teenager with hormones all over the place.|
|Jacaranda ||– to bring about the much needed focus and concentration for school work.|
|Southern Cross||– to clear his “why me?” victim mentality.|
|Dagger Hakea||– for adolescence and the resentments teenagers express.|
|Tall Yellow Top||– to give a secure sense of belonging.|
|Isopogon||– to assist with memory.|
The dosage recommended was 7 drops morning and night to be supervised by the mother, until the bottle was finished.
Ten days went by and I got a telephone call telling me that the drops were starting to work. The teenager was more self-assured and was actually submitting homework and passing. Three weeks later, he was staying in at lunchtime, voluntarily, to finish his homework and he was actually remembering to bring school correspondence home to show his parents. He was overall more settled and focused and less resentful and rebellious. A quote from his father as told to me was “Who has kidnapped my son?”, “My son would never stay home and do homework”. His mother enjoys being around her son now. He is still no angel and does have his “off” days but generally his mother is well satisfied that it was the essences that transformed her son. Her son feels confident that he can take a break from the remedy, now that it is finished. His mother will monitor his progress and keep in touch.
